Recently bought a heritage rough rider and had a light strike problem thats actually easy to fix (or now it is), looked everywhere and couldnt find any help on forums or YouTube with the problem, all I found was other people with the same problem and no solution, so having fixed mine heres the solution: its a weak mainspring, take off the grips, put a shim in between the frame and mainspring, so that when your hammer is cocked all the way back the mainspring has added tension pushing it back and the hammer down when the trigger is pulled, I tried a couple different things for a shim but ultimately ended up using some sticky felt pads cut to fit and stick on the frame inside grips, hopefully you found this useful and dont spend 9 days looking for answer like I did, if u have any other questions feel free to ask.
